Mulching spikes
Amidopic

Why?
We noticed that many people working in the landscaping sector use metal spikes to secure their mulch. These are not biodegradable and must be removed from the ground.
More and more mulch users now choose biodegradable mulching, but until now, there was no biodegradable spike solution.
We therefore created the first 100% plant-based and 100% in-situ biodegradable mulching spike.
Advantages
Its complete biodegradation at the end of its cycle eliminates the need for collection, saving at least 50% of working time compared to the most commonly used models. Its biodegradation is adapted to the natural anchoring time of the mulch.
Unlike metal spikes, Amidopic leaves no harmful material in the soil and is non-hazardous (no bodily injury caused by a steel rod injuring a foot or leg). It prevents tractor tire punctures or equipment damage.
Amidopic allows precise positioning to optimize the number of spikes used according to the shape and size of the mulch. After soil work, it will be found in a more aerated area, allowing sufficient soil dynamics to complete its degradation.

How it works
Picpointe
The Picpointe is a product designed to accompany our plant-based mulching spikes. It is an essential tool to quickly drive a spike into the ground effortlessly and allows very precise positioning. The Picpointe is 100% made in France.
Why?
Installing a mulching spike requires bending or crouching. It is often a painful action that can be hard on the back.
Complementing Amidopic, we found it useful to develop a solution that reduces the difficulties associated with placing mulching spikes, so we created the Picpointe.

Advantages
The Picpointe allows installing mulching spikes while standing. Consequently, it reduces the strain of the task. It is non-hazardous and secures the placement of the spike.
We designed a product that is easy to handle and ergonomic to maximize ease of use. It is available in two versions: plastic or stainless steel. These materials make the product lightweight for easy handling.
